Mr. Skanes' Class -
Room 217
Do not pray for easy lives, pray to be stronger men! Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers, pray for powers equal to your tasks.
In Room 217 we expect to act Respectfully, Responsibly and Independently.
We must be our own monitors. A good yardstick against which to measure our behaviour is this: Would we be proud to admit how we acted later or do we hope that no one finds out?
If we live up to these ideals, nothing can stop us.

The homework in this section is due tomorrow. Usually the work in this section is what has not been finished during the day. While occasionally the work during the day will overlap into the evening, usually it should be mostly finished during the day. If your child consistently has over a 1/2 hour of homework from this section, please let me know. Either his/her understanding of the topic or her/his desire to get down to work needs to be addressed.
Please note that the homework should be copied daily into your child's agenda. (Although, this agenda may have more clarifying details than there was room for in the student agenda.) If she/he is not doing so this webpage will help the parent in determing what needs to be done, but please do not forget to take steps to help your child remember to copy the homework consistently and accurately. It is an important life-skill and he/she will not always have someone backing them up for the things they forget.
